What is Gay Bingo?

Gay Bingo is a community fundraiser, supporting the programs and services of Lifelong AIDS Alliance. Learn more about Lifelong by visiting www.llaa.org. Now in it's amazing 17th season, Gay Bingo has become a beloved Seattle institution!

A night at Gay Bingo includes 10 regular bingo games eligible for a $100 cash prize and 4 special prize package bingo games which guests have the option to buy into. Entertainment at Gay Bingo is provided by our fabulous hostesses, Aleksa Manila and Gaysha Starr, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and a slew of special guests.

Where is Gay Bingo located?

Gay Bingo has a new home at Fremont Studios, located at 155 N. 35th Street in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. Visit our Location & Directions page for more information. Who attends Gay Bingo?

Gay Bingo is a 21 and over event intended for adults of any sexual orientation who wish to support the vital services provided by Lifelong AIDS Alliance. Some of the content at Gay Bingo is considered 'adult' and is recommended for mature audiences. 750 guests attend each month, January through June.

How much are tickets and what does it include?

Regular tickets are $25 per guest and include entrance to Gay Bingo and 10 regular bingo games. Queen for a Day tickets are $35 per person and include entrance to Gay Bingo, 10 regular bingo games, one complimentary Bingo dauber per guest, one complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink per guest, and one complimentary food item from the Gay Bingo Food Court per guest.

What time does Gay Bingo start and how do I check in?

The doors at Gay Bingo open at 6:00pm. The event begins at 7:00pm and ends between 9:30-10:00pm.

Gay Bingo programs and games are picked up at the reservations desk inside the entrance to Fremont Studios. Check in is set up as a will call system. All programs listed under the reservation name must be picked up at the same time. At this time, all outstanding payments must be made in order to receive programs and games. Any tickets not claimed by 7:00pm will be released for sale to the public.

Are costumes required?

Costumes are encouraged but not required at Gay Bingo. Each month has a special theme (visit the ticket page for details on monthly themes), and dressing in costume can be a great way to add extra fun and excitement to the evening! A costume contest, led by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, is held each event, and the winners receive great prizes for participation (prizes vary from month to month).

Do you have ATMs at the event? Can I pay with my card?

Two ATM’s are located onsite at Fremont Studios. Credit cards are not accepted at check in for ticket payment, please bring cash or check for outstanding ticket payments. Due to Washington State Gambling Commission regulations, Lifelong cannot accept full payment via credit cards for reservations. $5.00 of every ticket must be paid by check or cash.Credit cards are accepted at the Gay Bingo Marketplace, Food Court, and Bar.

What is the O-69 club?

O-69 club members are season ticket holders for Gay Bingo. O-69 members receive some great perks, such as free daubers, preferred seating, fun monthly gifts, a shout out from the Gay Bingo stage, and discounted merchandise. Interested in joining? Does my ticket include a bingo dauber (ink marker)?

Daubers are not included with the price of admission for regular tickets. Queen for a Day seating and O-69 season ticket holders receive a complimentary dauber for each guest. Daubers can be purchased for $3 at the Gay Bingo Marketplace. Guests are also welcome to bring there own daubers. Proceeds from the sale of daubers benefit LLAA.

Do I need to bring my ID?

All guests will be required to show valid photo ID for entry. We are unable to admit anyone without ID, even if tickets were purchased in advance for the evening. Cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Are tickets available for sale the night of the event?

If the event is not sold out, tickets are sold at the door on the night of the event. All tickets sold at the door receive general admission seating, and tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. How do I ensure my party is seated together?

All guests who have purchased tickets prior to the event will have reserved seating. When purchasing your tickets online, please note your party name in the comment section when checking out.

Upon arrival, our friendly volunteer ushers will show you and your party to your seats. If your party has requested special seating accommodations, our staff will try their best to accommodate your needs. Night of seat changes are difficult to accommodate, and cannot be guaranteed. Advanced notice of special seating requests is greatly appreciated. All reasonable seating requests will be considered.

What if I need special accommodations?

When purchasing your tickets online, please note any special requests or necessary accomodations in the comment section when checking out.

At every Gay Bingo event, Lifelong provides ASL interpreters for our guests. Guests who use this service are asked to inform Lifelong staff when making reservations if requesting seating closer to the stage.

Guests in wheelchairs or scooters are encouraged to inform Lifelong Event Staff regarding preferred seating accommodations when making reservations. Fremont Studios is ADA accessible, and a ramp can be found on 35th Street at the main entrance.

faq-3How do I buy into the special bingo games?

Special Games are not included with the price of admission, and can be purchased at the Gay Bingo Marketplace or from one of our Special Games volunteers. Special Games are $2 per game card to play, except for the $1,000 prize Blackout Game, which sells for $4. Special Games can also be purchased in a pack with all four games for $10. Special Games prize packages range from $300 - $1000 in great prizes (prizes vary month to month).

Are Gay Bingo tickets tax deductible?

LLAA does not issue tax deduction receipts for the purchase of Gay Bingo tickets. Gay Bingo is a gambling event, and the price of your ticket includes admission and ten bingo games. It, therefore, does not qualify as a donation to Lifelong AIDS Alliance. Tax receipts can be issued for donations to Lifelong AIDS Alliance at Gay Bingo, this exludes the purchase of games, merchandise, food or alcohol. Please speak with our finance table at Gay Bingo, they will take down your information and issue you a tax receipt following the event.

How can I volunteer at Gay Bingo?

There are a number of available volunteer opportunities at Gay Bingo including set up before the event, break down following the event, and many opportunities throughout the event including ushering, serving Queen for a Day tables and working concessions, merchandise and special games. Will I receive a confirmation for my ticket purchase?

Do I receive physical tickets for the event?
No physical tickets are issued for Gay Bingo. All parties check in at the will call entrance to receive their bingo games and event programs.

Can reservations be cancelled or exchanged?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds or date changes, please.

Are there additional costs associated with the event?
All Bingo reservations include entrance and 10 games throughout the evening. Special games may be purchased for $2/game and participation in the special Blackout game may be purchased for $4. The cash bar, concessions, and merchandise are not included with the price of admission.

Where else can I purchase tickets?
General admission tickets may be purchased with cash or check only at the Lifelong Thrift Store. A physical ticket will be issued at this time. Tickets will only be sold one month at a time.
